"Veido Fondas" is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help patients with facial defects who cannot choose appropriate treatment due to financial difficulties.

In Lithuania, 20% of people live with facial and jaw defects, and 5% of them require surgery.

We are used to the idea that some defects are simply impossible to change and the only solution is to live with them. Although we often equate "Veido Fondas" programs with activities for the sake of patients' smiles, behind the smiles lie serious health problems. Few of us know that modern medical methods already make it possible to solve lifelong problems through treatment, which is sometimes long, complicated, lasting several years, but reliable and effective.

Part of the patients, having learned that there is an opportunity to solve this problem, face another obstacle - financial resources, which they simply do not have for the operation. Therefore, they live on, extinguishing the hope that soon, or at all - ever - they will be able to properly and comfortably chew, breathe, and finally, enjoy their face and smile and give it to others.

The Face Fund was created to enable such patients to achieve this major and important life change. Any caring person or organization can contribute to change that will turn another person's life upside down in a good way.
